Highest Yoga Tantra Commentary with Geshe Sonam N godrup

Participation in these Vajrayana teachings with Geshe Sonam Ngodrup requ ires a full (usually 2 or more days) empowerment i nto a deity practice of Highest Yoga Tantra such a s Cakrasaṃvara (Heruka)\, Vajrayoginī\, Vajrabhairava (Yamāntaka)\, Kālacakra\, or Guhyasamāja\; regardless of lineage.

W hile all students with a highest yoga tantra initi ation are permitted to attend the commentaries on Heruka Cakrasaṃvara\, Vajrayoginī\, Vajrabhairava\ ; it should be understood that only those who have received an initiation to a specific diety are pe rmitted to actually practice the self-generation o f that specific deity. Six Session Guru Yoga can ( and traditionally should) be practiced by anyone w ho as recieved any hightest yoga tantra practice i n the Gelug lineage.

Although Geshe l a will present the commentaries as a dharma friend wishing to aid students in understanding the teac hings and does not require a vajra guru-disciple r elationship\, he does request that students mainta in a deep and stable respect and faith for the pro found Vajrayāna teachings\, and prevent themselves from holding wrong views.
